Stokvellness - Using the indigenous African model of saving to create a nurturing environment for employees to get support, learn, get out of debt and save/ invest WHY YOU CAN TRUST US TO DELIVER - We are proud of having been involved in one of the most challenging financial wellness projects in the country at Lonmin Marikana where we helped train over 18 000 employees and provided financial counseling helping them to get back on their feet after the strike that left them and their families heavily traumatised and bankrupt - Our findings show that over 1/3 of Lonmin employees have debt that takes over 75% of their salaries through garnishee orders and other debt collection means - 40% of onsite social worker cases are related to financial distress.
