Back in 2011, Barna Group conducted one of the largest studies ever evaluating where people in North America find themselves in their journey of faith. After surveying 15,000 individuals, they analyzed the data and grouped respondents into what Barna calls the 10 Transformational Stops. Out of that data, they found that only 11% of respondents were living in a place that we call the 2nd half of the Gospel—a place where they are no longer reliant on striving and instead focusing on loving God and loving people. Seedbed exists to help followers of Jesus begin living out the 2nd half of the Gospel. We want to sow the love of Jesus into the lives of people so that their their hearts, homes, churches, and their cities will be radically transformed. Through events like our annual New Room conference, books, teaching resources, and through courses and other experiences, Seedbed wants to be a catalyst for people to experience an awakening in their hearts that overflows into a profound love for others. We believe that when the people of God awaken to the 2nd of Gospel that the world will begin to awaken to the first half.
