Sensational Kids is an innovative, award winning Social Enterprise that, to date, has improved the lives of over 10,000 children by providing affordable and timely therapy intervention, and assessment services through our child development centres in Kildare, Mayo, Monaghan & West Cork These children would otherwise have been unable to access assessment and intervention services due to lengthy public waiting lists, or, because of being unable to afford private fees. Our specialist development team deliver meaningful, life changing and measurable impacts to children with additional needs. Sensational Kids operates as a child development centre, providing three key offerings for children and their families; 1: Accessible & Affordable Early Intervention services such as speech & language and occupational therapy for children in need of additional support 2: A Child development and learning store providing a range of skill building toys and therapy products 3: Professional development training workshops for those working with children with special needs Collectively, these services are ensuring that the children benefiting from them can improve their skills and maximise their potential. Sensational Kids bridges the gap between public and private therapeutic services to provide an innovative solution to these problems. Identifying and treating the difficulties at a young age will give a child with an additional need a much better quality of life, but with lengthy public waiting lists, often the only alternative for families is expensive private sector care.
