Sensium

Sensium (Previously Snitch Inc) was founded in 2005, developing hardware and a web based mapping and tracking platform. We saw an opening for a high quality consumer vehicle tracking product branded SnitchGPS. In April 2006 we began a radio campaign led by ex-talkback radio host, Chris Carter. Soon after, and due to the majority of enquiries coming from businesses, we developed and launched our commercial vehicle tracking product, ArmadaGPS. We believed we could revolutionise the GPS Tracking industry in NZ, and we did. Strategic sales and marketing goals were met and exceeded. External recognition by Waitakere City as winner of the Innovation in Business Award for 2010 was the icing on the cake for our first 5 years in business. We were nominated and actively supported in the Business Awards and in our growth by the Westpac Bank who recognised and acknowledged our growth and significance in the NZ market. In 2011 we opened our doors in Australia, with our initial office in Brisbane City then moving in 2014 to our current office in Springwood. 2015 saw a change in the business structure, with Snitch Inc being split into two separate entities. This was done to allow each business entity to specialise, and be accountable for their role in the providing this product. Sensium is the business "front end", providing sales and support our New Zealand customers. GPSengine is the software development company, now based in Springwood, QLD. GPSengine is responsible for developing and maintaining the vehicle tracking platforms and offering second level technical support to Snitch Inc and other resellers.
