By only acquiring relevant sensor data, our technology delivers significant benefits including reduced size, reduced power consumption, extended operating life, extended maintenance intervals, and reduced network traffic. It achieves this by: - eliminating power-hungry periodic sampling of signals, whilst remaining continuously aware, - drawing no power from mains or battery, using only picowatts of power from the signal output of sensors, - responding rapidly and leaving the sensor signal intact for further use.
