SensorDriven addresses key constraints to the growth of the Internet of Things, namely power consumption of connected devices, and data overload of the communications network. Our technology enables sensors to listen whilst fully powered down, and wake upon detecting an event. Wake-up can be initiated via a wide range of parameters, including temperature, sound, motion, RF, light, and concentration. By only acquiring relevant sensor data, our technology delivers significant benefits including reduced size, reduced power consumption, extended operating life, extended maintenance intervals, and reduced network traffic. It achieves this by: - eliminating power-hungry periodic sampling of signals, whilst remaining continuously aware, - drawing no power from mains or battery, using only picowatts of power from the signal output of sensors, - responding rapidly and leaving the sensor signal intact for further use. We serve a number of industries including: Energy Transport Healthcare Defence Environmental monitoring Consumer electronics Contact us to explore how being sensor driven can improve your monitoring application.
