Setel PowerLine specialises in the design and implementation of solutions based on our suite of INDUSTRIAL GRADE PowerLine products. Setel PowerLine’s network solution is built on an industrial grade, enterprise level of Power Line Communications, creating fully optimisable IP connectivity throughout a vessel without the need to run cables and accessed via WiFi Units or direct plug in. Our fast and efficient installation process, in a matter of hours, not days, negates time consuming, complex and expensive re-cabling. Once installed, the number of applications that can be accessed and utilised via the network are virtually limited to the imagination: CCTV, LAN, WIFI, Telemedicine, Tracking, Monitoring, Data Collection, Systems management - the list goes on. Although this technology has existed for many years it has only recently been adapted, by ourselves, for the benefit of the maritime industry. It is backed up by a full support & maintenance platform that allows remote access and optimisation. As word of our unique solution has spread we now find ourselves involved in projects across a broad cross section of vessels, clients and regions. To service this global demand we have created a network of installation and resale partners located in key shipping hubs. We are based in London, but have a demonstration set up onboard HQS Wellington on the Thames by Temple Underground Station.
