Shifa Technologies Ltd. is a Covid-19 response company. The team came together with the primary objective to research, design, test, produce, commercialise and supply low cost ventilators to support health facilities who have a growing demand as well as keep it low tech so it has limited demand for power supply and perfectly fit for purpose. We launched our flagship product, the ShiVent which is a non electric, non invasive ventilator which operates on the principles of BubbleCPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure). Our product has passed 2 usability test carried out at- 1- 23rd May 2020 at the National Center for Sports and Exercise Medicine, Loughborough University UK. 2- 12th June 2020 at the Leicester Royal Infirmary Hospital, Leicester, UK We look forward to collaborations and support for scalability.
