Shift Energy Holdings, Inc., is a California based company that designs, develops, finances, builds and operates biorefineries using biomass and various forms of municipal waste as feedstock. Shift Energy integrates commercially proven technologies in a proprietary design that maximizes the simultaneous production of renewable products (transportation fuels, electricity, and chemicals) and results in a new advanced waste management standards for the industry, proving that "Zero Waste" is possible. Shift Energy biorefineries produce renewable fuels without the need for any additional processing, with ultra low sulfur content and that can be used directly as transportation fuel ("drop in") or as a regular fossil fuel additive ("blending") adapting fossil fuels to legal requirements and increasing their quality.
