Singapore-ETH Centre

The Singapore-ETH Centre is the only research centre established by ETH Zurich, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, outside of Switzerland. The centre was established in 2010 in partnership with Singapore's National Research Foundation as part of its Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE). Since its founding, the Singapore-ETH Centre has become a vibrant hub for research with some 200 researchers from diverse disciplines under three programmes: Future Cities Laboratory (www.fcl.ethz.ch), Future Resilient Systems (www.frs.ethz.ch), Future Health Technologies (FHT). The SEC aims to tackle some of the most pressing challenges of urbanisation in partnership with universities, government agencies, industry, and the wider community.
