Singapore Gymnastics (SG) was registered with the Registry of Societies on 24/7/2003 and gazetted on 15/8/2003 as the National Sports Association for gymnastics. Its formation by the gymnastics fraternity was supported by the Singapore Sport Council (SCC). SG has been affiliated to the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) since December 2003. SG is a charity since 10/12/2010. In addition, SG received the status of Institution of a Public Character (IPC) which allowed the association to receive tax-deductible donations.
