SIQ - Swedish Institute for Quality

SIQ - the Institute for Quality Development - is tasked with promoting quality development in Sweden. We will contribute to increasing the competitiveness and profitability of Swedish companies and organizations by creating, gathering and disseminating knowledge that lays the foundation for long-term and sustainable improvement work. We will contribute to increasing the competitiveness and profitability of Swedish organizations by creating, gathering and disseminating knowledge about quality development. SIQ is a foundation and a non-profit industrial research institute founded in 1990. Our principals are the Swedish state through the Swedish Growth Agency and the member organizations of the Association of Quality Assurance Development. The Stakeholder Association consists of members from both the private sector and the public sector. As an independent party we act without special interests and can therefore be a neutral and impartial bridge between academia and business. In this role, we can help companies and organizations understand - and above all, gain practical benefit from - national and international research and science in strategic quality development.
