Sixty North Gold Mining Ltd.

Sixty North Gold Mining Ltd. is a junior gold and VMS exploration and development company focused on the Mon Gold Project, located in the Yellowknife Greenstone Belt, Northwest Territories, Canada. The Mon Gold Project, one of the most promising gold development opportunities in the NWT, is a high grade quartz shear/vein deposit which operated as an underground mine from 1989 - 1997 until closure due to low gold prices. The project has operating permits for mining and milling at 100 tpd, making it the only gold project permitted for production in the Northwest Territories. VMS AND GOLD EXPLORATION In 2018 the company discovered a new, 2,500 m long, high-grade silver lead zinc volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) horizon on its Mon Property, referred to as the Nelson Lake Deposit. In 2017 the company's surface exploration identified two parallel dominant gold trends with lengths over 3 kilometres, which include the former-producing Mon Gold Mine’s A-Zone. OWNERSHIP Sixty North Gold has a 100% interest in the project, subject to a 2.0% net smelter returns royalty. EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT PLANS Sixty North Gold plans to conduct surface exploration of various gold and VMS targets on the project, and to conduct a >1000 tonne underground bulk sampling on the former-producing A-Zone for an assessment of grade, width, and continuity. LOCATION AND ACCESS The Mon Gold Property consists of 11 contiguous mining leases and three mineral claims, covering 1,536.92 acres, located about 45 kilometres north of Yellowknife. Personnel, food and materials are provided through the combination of float or ski-equipped aircraft and helicopter from the City of Yellowknife, about 15 minutes flying time south. A winter road provides access for fuel and other heavy or bulky materials from Yellowknife via the Bluefish Hydro-Electric Dam, 20 km south of the Property.
