Let us take you back to 2013. A couple of friends, alumni from the American University in Bulgaria, had decided they needed a hangout spot, where fellow alumni could gather and...well, hang. Enter SKAPTOBARA: an American-inspired concept-space, where old and new buddies would come along, share a beer or two and indulge in hand-crafted burgers. But like every beginning, SKAPTOBARA’s first days were trying and long. The guys behind it were doubling as staff; every single evening they’d clock out from their corporate jobs and go on imagining and crafting burgers, bartending, bussing and what-not until the small hours of the morning. Or as the popular saying goes: bust-their-asses off, sleep a little, repeat. Back to nowadays, where their blood, sweat, and tears (quite literally in this case) have shaped SKAPTOBARA to an incredible, must-experience locale, celebrating and elevating the classical trifecta of Burgers - fresh, never frozen, all beef burgers. Cooked to order, every single time. Beers. Craft beers, hand-picked to go along with the imaginative burger recipes. Buddies. From all walks of life; from across the world; regardless of sexual orientation; from every nationality and religion; dog or cat lover notwithstanding. This is us, SKAPTOBARA. Distinctive attitude.
