SolarBOS was founded in 2004 with the vision of developing cost effective and reliable BOS solutions for the PV industry. At the time, SolarBOS'​ first product was a configurable 600 volt Combiner Box which allowed customers to specify the number of circuits and the NEMA rating of the enclosure. That simple innovative approach has led to the development of the broadest catalog of BOS products in the industry. SolarBOS has grown significantly since then as a respected name within the solar industry, supporting over 8.5 GW of commercial and utility-scale PV projects. SolarBOS has the broadest standard product offering of any BOS supplier coupled with the willingness and ability to provide custom and semi-custom solutions for our customers'​ unique needs. We support Grounded, Floating, and Bipolar projects with a complete solution set for Combiner Boxes, Recombiners, and Safety Switch Assemblies. Products for Thin Film, Single/Poly Crystalline, and Concentrated Photovoltaic projects are available. We have factories in Northern California and the Upper Midwest to better serve our clients in North America.
