With 60 years, and two generations of engineering and fabricating behind us, we hold ourselves to the highest standard in delivering the product and solution that is right for you. In 1968, John Jenkins started an engineering and manufacturing business based in Falkirk, Scotland. 60 years and two generations later, John Jenkins and Sons (JJS) remains a family concern the current generation is represented by grandson Jonny. Not one to rest on his laurels, Jonny founded Solid Athletix in 2014, pursuing his passion for physical exercise whilst remaining true to his deeply ingrained roots in manufacturing steel products of the highest quality. Today, Jonny is joined at the helm by his brother-in-law, Stuart. Both lead the company motivated by the same principles upon which JJS built it's solid foundation, where character and integrity were essential to building long lasting relationships. These principles, together with a commitment to continuous learning and inspiring our customers to lead better lives, continue to guide Solid Athletix to this day. As one of the oldest steel manufacturing in Scotland, Solid Athletix is testament to the sense of purpose obtained from being a family business. The current generation are lucky in that there is a long history which is motivational to them. It is hugely important to carry the responsibility because their job is to add to the legacy. Jonny remains as committed as his grandfather was 60 years ago, to producing products and services that establish trust and are of outstanding quality. Solid Athletix specialise in Strength & Conditioning and Functional Fitness equipment which are still made in the manufacturing facility in Falkirk to this day.
