After a few years in sales, PR, events and label coordinator roles at Banquet Records, [PIAS] UK and The Association of Independent Festivals, Malcolmson began her PR career as Campaign & Account Manager at a lifestyle and events PR agency, before moving on to become a Music Publicist at 9PR (Max Richter, Hauschka, Lee Scratch Perry, Hannah Peel, Ian William Craig, The Album Leaf etc).
