South Africa Makes is the first of its kind, 3D printing for development (#3D4D) Initiative. 3D printing is an exciting and innovative technology, with multiple creative and practical applications, but there is little to no use of 3D printing by most South Africans. South Africa Makes implement the training of unemployed youth from disadvantaged communities in leveraging principles from the fourth industrial revolution.
