South India Coffee Company

With five generations of coffee growers in the family, South India Coffee Company has sprung from a rich tradition of coffee. Our passion for exquisite beans goes beyond meeting the discerning expectations of the third wave coffee movement. Having operations on the ground allows us to find the best micro-lots and single estate coffees in Southern India. We share every detail about every coffee bean we grow and source, we support everyone in the supply chain who are invested in quality coffee – from farmer to the exporter, to the roaster and the barista. We grow and source the best green coffees from our farms and neighbouring framers. We process the beans with great care. Our Q grader check the quality and scores the coffees which then are shipped by us to the roasters. We handle all the logistics until the coffee reaches your roastery in the UK and Europe. So, when we say direct trade we mean direct trade. The amount of physical labour, resources and land that is involved to produce a cup of excellent coffee is astonishing, yet the prices do not reflect all this effort. Higher prices are justified if there is a noticeable increase in quality. Thus, we believe that by increasing the quality of the coffee we export, our customers will be willing to pay higher prices for better quality, transparency, social and environmental sustainability.
