The Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds (SHPG) is a specialist winter proving ground dedicated to providing real world winter testing conditions for OEM car, component and tyre manufacturers during June, July and August. Located in the Southern Alps of New Zealand SHPG comprises of 15 independent, secure and private proving grounds. Each test area includes snow and ice surfaces prepared to automotive industry standards with private workshop & offices.
