For the last 17 years, SMIC has provided sales and service of radiology equipment for hospitals and imaging centers. SMIC offers an upgrade to the G.E. Fluoroscopy Camera system, which reduces radiation exposure 50-75% using the latest CMOS facial detection technology. This upgrade will also update the current DOS operating system currently on the G.E. Legacy, Advantx, and the Windows 95 operating system on the P-500 systems to a HIPPA compliant Windows 10 system. The update has an optional flat panel detector which eliminates the need for the non-supported Image Intensifier. This upgrade will allow video exams to transfer up to 30 minutes of video to your current PACS. Also, this system has the opportunity to record a fluro loop and retro save. SMIC's manufacturing partner is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer with over 100 years of combined GE engineers experience. Upgrades are at 1/4 the cost of what you would pay from G.E. or any other manufacturer. Full room upgrades are also available at 1/4 the cost to other manufactures. SMIC offers upgrades through a service agreement using the hospital's operating budget instead of the capital equipment budget. SMIC offers digital detector upgrades to your current x-ray equipment and Core Labs high quality, made in the USA full x-ray rooms. SMIC offers remanufactured CT from GE and other manufactures.
