Since 1996, Spartan Institutional Research has been in the business of providing unique and differentiated independent equity research services to our buy-side clients. Initially, we strive to identify providers that are truly independent and without conflicts of interest such as an investment banking affiliations, research-for-hire, or company consultancy relationships. From there, we do extensive due diligence to determine that the research produced is unique within its own respective vertical and is indeed Alpha-generating. At Spartan, we endeavor to identify one research provider within each research vertical that we feel is doing the best work within that sector. From there, we work very closely with each of our providers to ensure that the end product is dynamic and evolving, yet still focused on our clients and their needs. We currently represent independent research providers ranging from the forensic accounting / quality of earnings space with a focus on shorts, to channel checks and distribution surveys across the Industrials and Automotive sectors.
