OUR STORY Special Gases Enterprises Pty Ltd better known as SGI was founded in the late 90's by four individual contractors who were completing medical gas installations for the then CIG. Since then we have grown immensely and developed into the trusted and respected medical & laboratory gas installation firm we are today. Based in North Melbourne our company has an estimating, project management, drafting, manufacturing and administration team with the ability to service projects of all sizes. We are constantly looking to improve to offer excellent service to our clients and an installation quality that is second to none. Over the years we have developed quality assurance procedures that ensure all steps are taken to deliver projects to specified design requirements and relevant Australian Standards. QUALITY ASSURANCE Our extensive experience and robust industry reputation highlight an organisational culture that is committed to ensuring that all our projects are completed to the highest degree of quality as a result of our installers focus on doing a job well done. We have full Quality Assurance plans and for both medical and laboratory work, all SGI employees are trained on how to follow these procedures to ensure that the quality of our projects is forefront. We are constantly reviewing our QA to always be improving and increasing our standards. If you have specific QA requirements we are happy to work with your team to make the required modifications. Our commissioning practices are amongst the most trusted in the industry. We engage an independent contractor to commission our medical gas projects. This separation from the installation team offers an additional level of security for the end users, ensuring the integrity of the installed life system.
