Spiritus is a community organization committed to the development of music and artistry in Calgary, AB Spiritus contains 4 core ensembles: Vertigo Indoor Percussion Vertigo Indoor Percussion is Calgary’s first percussion ensemble to focus exclusively on winter percussion. Presented by the Spiritus Marching Arts Association, Vertigo Indoor Percussion is an organization dedicated to youth education in the arts. They offer youth ages 16-22 performance and educational opportunities in the percussive arts. Their members will learn the craft of indoor percussion performance, develop the skills necessary to perform at a supremely high level, and perfect a show to be performed in front of hundreds of spectators throughout Alberta. Dynamic Winterguard Dynamic Winterguard is Calgary's premier competing winterguard ensemble. Vivo Jazz Vivo Jazz is an adult jazz ensemble that focuses on furthering the education of musicians in the Calgary area. Rhapsody Honor Band Rhapsody Honor Band is a great program for the mentoring and growth of jr high age students.
