We help babies children and young people learn functional skills to participate in everyday life at home, school and in their community. Services: Aquatic and land physiotherapy services for babies, children and young people. - Land physiotherapy: goal directed physiotherapy at your home/ school/ kinder/ childcare/ sport. May include: supporting participation in education, sport and leisure settings; formal assessments; equipment trials, applications and training. - Sport and recreation intensives: daily goal directed physiotherapy working towards functional skills and participation goals eg. bike riding, team sports, hiking, canoeing - Aquatic physiotherapy: goal directed physiotherapy working towards your land based goals. Swim safer skills and behaviours included in every session. We have partnerships with two private swimming schools, in Moonee Ponds and Greensborough, and use wheelchair accessible swimming pools where required. - Pathways to swimming: aquatic physiotherapy aimed at swimming participation goals through identifying individual learning needs. Transition support eg. into swimming lessons, swimming with family or support workers for leisure and exercise, school swim lessons. Physiotherapy assistant support in transition to swimming lessons if required.
