SpotEnergy is an all-encompassing blockchain energy solution that delivers a digital currency, underpinned by a global necessity (ENERGY). SpotEnergy uses blockchain technology to take the dynamics of a peer-to-peer shared economy to the energy markets. SpotEnergy’s objective is to rapidly move the world towards a more sustainable model of distributed and renewable electricity derived from multiple sources rather than a few isolated (typically state owned) mega-providers. Products: The Spot Exchange (TSE) SpotEnergy’s aim is to create a stable, transparent energy market, decentralising energy generation and empowering consumers and generators. SpotEnergy will operate in deregulated energy markets, putting the power back in the hands of the producer and consumer, allowing wholesale supply and demand dictated energy pricing. The Spot Marketplace (TSM) SpotEnergy will be a project facilitator in renewable generation assets in through Spot’s portal, the Spot Marketplace (TSM). Spot will create a platform for investors to assess and participate in energy projects. These projects will be graded by external providers of financial due diligence and environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk assessment frameworks. The Spot Carbon Market (TSC) Develops and sells carbon offsets and renewable energy certificates to promote climate action and sustainable development around the world. The Spot Carbon Market will allow governments, banks and private organisations to offset environmental impacts.
