sri venkateswara college of engineering (svce) is one of the pioneers in engineering education, excelling since 1985. it has got an autonomous status since 2016. all 11 b.e./b.tech. and 8 m.e./m.tech. the programs are affiliated to anna university, chennai. svce has more than 22,000 alumni, over 450 faculty and staff and currently, over 3900 students are pursuing their degree programs. history: svce is a unit of sri venkateswara educational and health trust (sveht). the trust was founded on 1 august 1985 at the behest and benign blessings of his holiness pujashree kanchi kamakoti peedathipathi sri jayendra saraswathi swamigal. dr. a. c. muthiah, a renowned engineer, industrialist,and philanthropist, is the chairman of the governing council of the college. the college is in a 95 acre lush green campus.
