We’re a unique school that offers a single gender educational experience to girls and boys on the same campus in beautiful downtown Honolulu. Queen Emma Preschool, located on Pali Highway, sets the foundation for our downtown schools in a co-ed environment for our youngest learners. The Priory, established by Queen Emma Kaleleonālani 154 years ago, serves girls in K-12 by offering fascinating internships and leadership opportunities, world languages, competitive athletics, rich and vibrant performing and visual arts options, as well as numerous clubs. Priory graduates are confident learners, creative thinkers, and compassionate leaders who are inspired to make our world a better place. The Prep serves boys in K-6 by offering an engaging, hands-on program designed for the way boys learn. In our unique learning environment, we acknowledge the individual strength of boys and focus their energy on the tasks at hand. Prep boys are curious, enthusiastic and love coming to school every day. Our focus at Queen Emma Preschool is nurturing a child’s love of learning through the delight of play, fostering each child’s innate curiosity and unique sense of wonder. Developmentally appropriate activities that emphasize the individuality of each child allow for positive self-growth in children ages 2-5 years.
