We are the largest community based credit union in Ireland, serving the needs of more than 67,500 member-owners and their communities. Our official registered Credit Union name remains; St. Canice’s Kilkenny Credit Union Ltd. however following a series of member driven mergers, we now serve all the people who live or work within the wider geographic common bond areas of Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois and Tipperary. The common bond area in which we operate covers the postal districts of Bagenalstown, Ballingarry, Ballyragget, Callan, Dunnamaggin, Durrow, Graignamanagh, Kilkenny, Mountrath, Piltown and Rathdowney and surrounding catchment areas. In our marketing material we are branded as St. Canice’s Credit Union. We are not for profit. We support local initiatives. We are a co-operative. We are strong, secure and service driven. We are local, loyal and lending. We offer loans & savings products to our members while helping support our local communities thrive.
