Born in 1985, STARPLAST, company entirely national and familiar, released its first helmet, Scorpion, two years after its foundation, with a production of 300 units. Acquired PEELS local mark, established partnership with the Italian BIEFFE, created its own test and experiment’s laboratory, which demanded that the government brought up to date it’s methods of certification. Settled in Iracemápolis (São Paulo State - Southeast Brazil - 22"34'54.65"​ S / 47"30'17.30"​ W) since 1999, STARPLAST, withholder of ISO 9001:2000 certificate and of the international TÜV, has an expected production, 34 years after its first cast, of one million helmets/year from PEELS, BIEFFE and FLY marks, in a plant with 12.000m² built in site of 25.000m². In 2005, a STARPLAST site was established in Salvador (Bahia State - Northeast Brazil - 12"58'10.49"​ S - 38"30'46.55"​ W), in a 13.000 m² plant, with 7.500 m² of built area, destined to amplify the production and thus take helmets of highest quality to more and more motorcyclists all over Brazil.
