Steve Jensen Design

A design practice with 25 years experience, working with commercial and private clients. Creating environments, wielding architecture, interiors and object, alongside technology and an in depth knowledge of construction and manufacturing. We maintain a unique working philosophy and practice, embracing simplicity, materiality, composition and connectivity, creating achievable, build able, and creative projects exploring all scales. A Designer, Artist & Academic he operates between the boundaries of Art and Architecture. A balance of professional practice and education has created a unique body of work that has enabled him to formulate a strong design identity and educational aptitude. Previous companies Juggernaut Design and Anarchitect, were both critically acclaimed and award winning. He has worked, built and published throughout the world with clients such as Vivienne Westwood, Nike and Endemol, along with numerous private clients and collaborations. He has extensive teaching experience at all levels, engaging with schools and students from all over the world, and is currently Year One Leader at the Royal College of Art in London, for post graduate studies of Interior Design and external examiner at Edinburgh University. Clients such as Vivienne Westwood, Mean Fiddler, Cream and Giraffe benefitted from his approach. More recently, larger projects have been produced, with this accumulated knowledge of process to construction, clients have included a continued working relationship with Vivienne Westwood, Nike, London Legacy Corporation, Unilever and Endemol. Diverse collaborations and exciting one off projects have enriched a body of work, this diversity has allowed Steve to explore design at all scales, buildings, interiors and furniture, both commercial and bespoke, informing and influencing one another.
