Stigma Statistics

We Are Stigma Statistics We’re a startup social venture enabling suicide prevention through data and technology. We are building an inclusive and supportive global organisation that has mental health in the foundation of every action and interaction. Background Suicide rates are of epidemic proportions globally - close to 800 000 people die by suicide every year, which is one person every 40 seconds . In 2019 there were 6,524 registered suicides in the UK. The current situation does not allow full visibility of real time suicide data for local public health. To solve an issue, we need full visibility. To get full visibility, we need to breakdown silos, link up disjointed process and allow for automation to deliver data in a timelier fashion.
