ASX-listed Stonewall Resources is reawakening a giant goldfield in South Africas Eastern Goldfields, where South Africas gold mining industry began almost 130 years ago. We are developing the fully permitted high-grade, near-surface TGME gold project that covers 620 square kilometres near the towns of Pilgrims Rest and Sabie in Mpumalanga Province, 370km northeast of Johannesburg. Our most recent resource upgrade shows 5.1moz of gold at grades as high as 126g/tonne and current drilling aims to increase the resource even more, and to establish maiden reserves. Stonewall has identified promising high grade deposits suitable for open-cut mining to initiate low-cost production. Project assets include 6 mining rights and 7 prospecting rights, an existing on-site CIL gold plant and tailing facilities. Stonewall is positioned to become one of the few low cost gold miners in the country and the appreciation of the $US against the South African rand also works in our favour.
