Having more than 125 years´ experience, STROJÍRNY POLDI, a.s. is one of the oldest Engineering and Machining companies in the world. STROJÍRNY POLDI, a.s. is the sole manufacturer of crankshafts in the Czech Republic and within our business sectors of Crankshafts, Rolls and Tools we are one of the major manufactures in Europe. Our Company history dates back to 1889, with our headoffice and production facilities still located in Kladno, near Prague. More than 80% of our production is exported to international markets across four continents. STROJÍRNY POLDI, a.s. delivers high-quality crankshafts for the engines of leading global brands engaged in the production of Trucks, Buses and Tractors, agricultural, forestry and construction equipment, rail and aerospace transport as well as pumps and compressors. Our Crankshafts are made of pre-formed forgings and castings, which are machined and heat-treated with focus on exceptionally high accuracy and production quality. Our large Rolls for cold rolling are made from forgings supplied by internationally recognized manufacturers to stringent quality specifications. STROJÍRNY POLDI, a.s. machines the Rolls to meet our Customers highest specifications in the production of sheets. Our Tools are made of certified high-speed and corrosion resistant tool steel grades, machined to the highest production standards for metallurgy, engineering, glass, food and construction industry. STROJÍRNY POLDI, a.s. currently employs 300 people.
