Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community (TLRC) is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community located on 28+ acres the beautiful north end of Tacoma. Our full continuum of life-style options include independent retirement living, assisted living, short-term medical/rehabilitation care, long-term care, memory and hospice care services. These services allow our seniors the comfort and security of not having to worry about moving again as long as we can meet their needs. Our campus offers many amenities such the Emerson Wellness and Clark Aquatic Center, the Chihuly Family Art Center, Edwards Family Walk, Arneklev Garden , the internationally known TLRC Innovations Home, a beauty salon, gift shop, in-home support services, in- and out-patient therapy services, pet therapy, daily Chapel services and much more. All faiths are welcome on our campus! TLRC has been providing senior care and services since 1938. We employ over 300 staff and are amongst the top 25 largest employers in Pierce County. One in four employees has been with TLRC for over 10 years. We are blessed to have the support of 20 Lutheran Churches, over 300 volunteers and many families and community partners.
