TANTARA most recently was selected as a Nunn-Perry Award Recipient, which recognizes mentor-protege firms that have excelled in the areas of quality, technical development, cost efficiencies, and increased business opportunities for small disadvantaged firms. In 2013, TANTARA was also selected as the "SBA 2013 Region 1 Prime Contractor of the Year,"​ and has also been awarded an ICIC and FORTUNE Magazine "Inner City 100 Award"​ (rank #42), as well as the Boston Business Journal’s "Pacesetters Select 70 Award"​ (rank #15).
