Tasima (Pty) Ltd was formed in 2002 to effectively develop, manage and refine the National Traffic Information System (eNaTIS) project on behalf of the National Department of Transport. The initial phase of the project was completed successfully and Tasima has subsequently added numerous enhancements and new functionality to the system in keeping with ever-growing road traffic management demands. In December 2009 the company was restructured, resulting in an improved, unified company structure and Tasima, ISO 9001:2000-certified for its quality management system, is now actively pursuing road-traffic-management-related projects on the continent and beyond.
