Taxlab is the market leader in New Zealand for cloud tax software, used by wide range of businesses to manage tax reporting, income tax returns and FBT compliance. Our corporate customers include multinational corporations, banks, insurers, energy companies, telecoms and government agencies. Our tax agent customers range from small accounting practices to Big 4 professional services firms. Built on an open cloud-based platform gives Taxlab the unique flexibility to work with other software providers and multiple sources of data including accounting ledgers, practice management systems, tax authorities and tax pooling intermediaries with a number of integrations already built including Xero, IRD, TMNZ and Tax Traders. Founded in 2009 by Allen Knight and Karl Farrand, having previously led Deloitte’s tax technology team, Taxlab is a design centric organisation and works closely with tax professionals and accounting community throughout New Zealand and Australia. Taxlab is operated by vastly experienced tax software professionals with oversight from a highly experienced Advisory Board.
