TEAM HOPE is an Irish, interdenominational Christian development aid charity, working with children, and through them, into their families and communities in Eastern Europe, former Soviet Union and Africa (Irish charity number CHY 14524). Best known for our Annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal, we also help children all year round (many in families surviving on less than 1 a day) through a variety of community development projects; an International Sponsorship Programme, a Christmas Gift Catalogue and International Teams running two week summer teams running camps or work projects. Working with our international partners in Eastern Europe and Africa, we seek to help some of the most needy children and their families. For our 2015 Christmas Shoebox Appeal, we are planning on 200,000 gift boxes, with up to 20,000 for Refugees in Europe. In Ireland, TEAM HOPE are very grateful for the on going support and commitment of countless school-children, businesses and their staff, community groups, donors and around 2,000 volunteers.
