TeamO looks at problems from a totally new angle to deliver out of the box solutions which don't just exceed existing marine safety standards, they smash them. Founded in 2015 by young British designer and sailor Oscar Mead, the business launched with the BackTow Lifejacket Harness. It has been called 'revolutionary' and a 'game changer' by leading industry publications and won multiple industry awards including the Yachts and Yachting Innovation of the Year Award and the Pittman Award (Safety Category). Oscar was also shortlisted for the Dyson Design Award. Oscar's passion for design is shared by his family who joined him to build TeamO Marine. We are all sailors and are all passionate about safety at sea. We are building TeamO in to a sharp, responsive safety design business which thinks outside the box and offers new solutions to keep our customers safer. In November 2017 the company will launch two new products, including the Autolock Tether which has been nominated for a DAME Design Award.
