TeamSurv uses crowdsourcing to measure the depths of our seas. Unlike the land, vast swathes of our oceans are not surveyed - we know the surface of the moon better than the depths of our seas. Seagoing vessels of all types and sizes record position and depth data as they go about their normal activities, and submit data to us for processing. The subsequent data is made available to national Hydrographic Offices and commercial chart publishers, port and harbour authorities, coastal and offshore engineers, oceanographers and marine scientists and environmentalists.
