For over 40 years, the company, founded in 1981 has built and developed strong expertise in the fields of sealing and sliding through diversification, which is now its strength. Technical and human investments, along with external growth, enable Techné to be the reliable partner of many leading companies in demanding sectors, while preserving the historical and managerial values of a family group with an international vocation. Initially a trading company, Techné evolved into production in the late 1980s. The company then settled in the south of Beaujolais, in Morancé, in 1989. The production of standard or custom-made machined seals (such as hydraulic seals) began during this period. The 2000s were marked by significant projects: the acquisition of Chromex and the establishment of our Chinese factory TTRC (now TDG) in 2004, the acquisition of H+VALVES in 2006, the establishment of our commercial subsidiary in Shanghai in 2006, the development of coatings in 2007, and the acquisition of Rampini in 2010. We also established ourselves in Turkey in 2011. In 2015, Créat, a company specialized in the production of sealing joints for the aerospace and railway sectors, joined the Techné group.
