Techniche is the annual techno-management festival of IIT Guwahati, the largest fest of its kind in the North-East. The event, conducted solely by the student fraternity of IIT Guwahati, holds the accolade of being India's first Techno-Management Festival to be held in a Virtual Mode, in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by another successful virtual edition in 2021. The fest is all set to commence its next edition on 1st September 2022, after the successful execution of the Guwahati Half Marathon 2022 in late April this year. The team is also responsible for the conduction of Technothlon, India's largest student fraternity, organized logic-based examination for school students.
