Technikum Laubholz is an interdisciplinary research facility specialized in the development of innovative processes and products made from hardwood and other renewable resources for a sustainable life of tomorrow. The founding of Technikum Laubholz is enabled by initiative of the State of Baden-Württemberg under the leadership of the Ministry for Rural Areas and Consumer Protection. Technikum Laubholz will speed up the development of innovative and high-quality application of hardwood rapidly through it’s approach of design-thinking and realization. Combining classical basic scientific research and applied science to solve problems in the real world quickly as well as following a greater vision will place Baden-Württemberg in pole position of diversified use of hardwood based resources.
