The European International Model United Nations (TEIMUN Foundation) is a student organisation which aims to educate students about the United Nations. The foundation organises several conferences and participates in several other conferences and workshops to meet this goal. The highlight every year is the annual TEIMUN conference, which takes place every July. During this conference 220 students from all over the world have the opportunity to experience the workings and decision-making process of the United Nations and NATO through role-playing in one of the simulated organs. It helps participants to gain a multilateral view of world affairs and to develop their public speaking and debating skills.
