Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills is one of Southern California's premier Reform Jewish congregations and synagogues, serving West and Greater Los Angeles. Our temple community consists of multi-cultural, traditional, and non-traditional families, as well as single, interfaith, LGBTQ, and single-parent members across a wide age demographic. We have a very active "YoPro" Young Professionals group, as well as a "Next Stage: Boomers & Beyond" group, and family groups in between! We are a community that truly has something for everyone! Through our approach to Jewish beliefs, Jewish traditions, Jewish holidays, and Jewish education, it is clear we recognize there is more than one way to be a Jew. Our clergy includes Rabbi Laura Geller, who Newsweek named one of America's Top 50 Most Influential Rabbis; Rabbi Jonathan Aaron, Rabbi Sarah Bassin, and Cantor Lizzie Weiss. We have award-winning schools, including an Early Childhood Center and Religious School, as well as a broad-based Adult Education and Family Center Program. Temple Emanuel is known for our innovative musical High Holy Day and Friday Night Services including the Roven Family Shabbat Unplugged, Shabbat SPARK, and Tot Shabbat. Our highly popular Shabbat Morning @Emanuel service, features contemplative prayer and interactive Torah study, drawing participants of all religious backgrounds from throughout Southern California.
