Laboratory Testing Quality assured, UKAS/Mcerts accreditated site and laboratory testing services, covering the UK with extensive laboratory facilities in Airdrie, Birmingham and Chesham. Site Investigation Terra Tek provides an extensive accredited site investigation service throughout the UK, with a comprehensive investigation service using an extensive fleet of equipment for soft ground boring, rock drilling and trial excavations. Our highly qualified and trained team of geotechnical engineers is capable of dealing with all aspects of site investigation planning, supervision, reporting, foundation design and analysis. Nuclear Density Gauge Nuclear density gauges are used for the rapid determination of the in-situ density and moisture content of soils and compacted materials used in the construction industry. As well as performing in-situ nuclear density testing at all UK locations, Terra Tek operate an instrument hire service from our Chesham laboratory. We have a large number of Troxler model 3430 and 3440 hand-held portable nuclear density gauges available for hire on a weekly basis to suitably licensed organisations in England,Wales and Scotland. We also hire out gamma radiation monitors used in conjunction with NDGs for personal radiation protection purposes.
