Thai Instant Products Company Limited (TIP) is a company based in Thailand established in 2007. The company is a Dutch investment registered with and promoted by the Board of Investment of Thailand in the field of food processing. In 2008 TIP started the construction of its own factory located in the Hemaraj Industrial Estate situated in the BOI-zone in Cholburi. The completion of the factory was a fact end of May 2009. The company’s main target market is the functional and instant food industry. The production line of TIP’s factory is built around hydrothermal processing of basically any type of grains as raw material input. The output is semi-finished products with enriched nutritional value in the form of added vitamins, herbs, minerals, fibers and/or pro/pre-biotics. These semi-finished products are in turn suitable for further processing, mixing and/or packaging in combination with other ingredients required. Examples of the wide variety of implementation of TIP’s products are carriers or main ingredients for nutritional supplements, instant health shakes, energy shakes, instant rice meals, pre-cooked or cooked meal replacements. As TIP’s target market is the qualitatively demanding functional food market, the factory is designed, constructed and operated in such a manner that it complies with internationally recognized standards of which the most important ISO 22001 and Halal. The factory has implemented exclusively European food processing equipment and technology from companies such as Buhler and Ottevanger. The high-end equipment together with a fully automated production line ensures durable, reliable, efficient and safe production and reduces the risk of contamination and human error to the minimum.
