the coalfields regeneration trust is the leading regeneration organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life in britain’s coalfield communities. we are a charitable company, governed by a board of trustees with teams deployed across england, scotland and wales and have been supporting these communities since 1999. our mission: “to champion and strengthen coalfield communities, generate resources to respond to their needs and deliver programmes that make a positive and lasting difference.” we are a social enterprise and deliver services and programmes that make a positive difference in our communities. these activities are supported using our own funds or by delivering contracts for external partners. we are a social investor and develop opportunities that deliver social impacts but also a return on investment to the trust so that we can continue to support our communities.
