The First Tee was established in 1997 and has introduced golf and its values to over 4.5 million participants worldwide. Our mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. In 1995,The First Tee of Delaware began as the Urban Youth Golf Program Association with 175 children in the City of Wilmington. In 2012 the program saw over 8,000 children statewide.
