The Gathering Place has served elders and disabled adults throughout Windham County for over 25 years and is located in downtown Brattleboro. The first center opened with 2 staff, serving 6 families three days a week. Since that time, we have grown our center and serve more than 65 families and provide home care services as well. In addition to social activities we also offer health services including oversight such as blood sugar monitoring, catheter maintenance, UTI screenings, and wound care. Other services we offer are on-site physical therapy, access to a podiatrist, access to counseling, and daily exercise. We provide daily continental breakfast, hot noon meal, and afternoon snack along with diet and nutrition monitoring. A fee for service on-site salon is provided weekly.
